This is the problem with the conservatives platform of anti-intellectualism, and if that word I just used was too difficult for you, stop reading here and save those last brain cells. Ordinary everyday people are relatable to most of America, but thats part of the problem - a lot of us are just dumb. This is like giving all the applications and choosing the guy who scores exactly average to look after the nuclear power plant reactors.
When intelligence is looked upon as unwanted "elitism", stupidity will get elected into office. This is the real threat America faces in November. You are either on the side of science, progress and reason, or you can support the values of people like Joe.
