Please elaborate on what you disagree with. If you hammer a plug into a wooden thread you are going to damage the thread, leaving less material for the new screws to grip on.
But the overall impression I get from reading your posts on here is that you're a pretty gigantic tool who just generally just disagrees with people with no corroborating evidence, so I'm not holding my breath. "You're wrong because I said so" is not a convincing argument, even on NS.
If the plugs don't wreck the threads why would they ever be stripped out?
I dunno what sort of plugs you use but I've seen techs whaling on a ski with a hammer putting them in. Shit I've even heard of people smashing pieces of golf tees into the holes to plug them.
Based on the standard installation method, I don't trust it hugely. I've seen enough bindings rip out of skis mounted once, let alone ones where someone has re-used an unknown drill'n'fill job.
