ACTs Tomorrow

Any one else taking the ACTs tomorrow? It's my frist time taking them and was just curious as to how similar it was to the SAT, if it is similar at all. Is it easier or harder, I'm pretty sure it's shorter, is the scoring system the same?

Their not that bad, for my school it was more of a bragging right. It hasn't gotten me anything as far as colleges go, unlike for my SAT's. Just don't stress and do your best. Their not as long I'd say though.

I found them easier because I struggle on SAT math because on SAT they try to trick you where ACT they are just testing you on math skills you've learned over the past 3 years of your highschool experience with no tricks

taking mine tomorrow as well, on my practice tests I've gotten consistently between 30-32, I just hope I can focus well enough tomorrow

yah I recommend that you take a 20mg adderall like 30 min before you enter...but you should def do a practice test and take it to get used to the effects

they are WAY different than the sats. sats test you on test taking, acts actually require some real knowledge to do. i personally like them better. i took the sats 3 times and got a decent score. i took the acts once and walked out pissed of because of how hard i thought it was and thought id get a really shitty score, but ended up getting a 32 which was above my expectations. just get plenty of sleep

I tried to post that last night while i was on mobile but it wasnt working. But i still wanted to express my love for you.

And it was meh... I like the SAT better and i thought the SAT was easier. But according to my friends who have taken it before, this test was harder the previous ones. So idk.

Taking it this year at some point. My school counselor thinks its a good idea. Not planning on going to a uni or anything but it's stil good to take it.
