Poison in our tap water

This is fucked. Who in the right mind thinks its O.K. to laden our drinking water with chemicals that are harmful, especially chemicals that are extracted from coal smoke. I'm surprised that not much has been done to stop this.

No I have known that fluoride has been in the water, but I never new the sulfur fluoride, came from the coal campaniles just so they don't have to pay for dumping their waste. Instead they get paid for it. SO FUCKED.

A private well is a good start but DHMO is also transported by rain and can seep through the soil and contaminate your local aquifer so you're not entirely safe ....

Essentially, no matter what you do, you will die. Don't know why we need to take any kind of special precautions with our "poisonous" drinking water. It's not like people have been dying by the thousands. Once it escalates to that point, I'll try to give a fuck.

exactly! there's tons of stuff that's bad for you but not much you can do to avoid it. except obvious ones like darts, liquor, drugs etc. and even then if you choose to use those things you know they can be really bad for you

Why take in more harmful carcinogenic chemicals than you need. We don't need fluoride in our water. They use sulfur hexafluoride that is collected from scrubbers in coal burning plants, and dump that shit in our drinking water, so coal companies can easily dispose of their hazardous waste, and make money by selling it to cities. It doesn't only effect us, it ends up polluting streams, rivers, ground water since 90% of our water ends up going back into the environment.
