Basically they're saying that if you prepare for a zombie apocalypse, you'll likely survive a real disaster event...

but still, I kinda hope a few people think it's REALLY legit..

Gourmet food means food that's perishable... and even though you CAN live on beer (at least historically) it's not going to really going to give you strength in a battle against zombie invaders.

Also... a zombie apocalypse will last a lot longer than your reserves will last in that lodge.

Plus, being in Alberta means you're going to have to eventually deal with a bunch of oil zombies from up north. Do your really want to deal with ft. mac zombies?

I'd go to a high security prison with 50 of my closest, non-infected friends. We'd have an initial "you're infected, we kill you" policy and we'd stand by it. With 50 people you could coordinate trips for supplies and watch outs safely. The prison would be near impossible to get into, and have tons of medical supplies. Guns and ammo would be located in the prison, if not stock up on supply runs. And 50 people is enough to slowly wither them away until; a) cure is found, or b) end of the world is evident and we accept defeat.

Just go to a heavily entrenched military base. Take all the landmines. Put them EVERYWHERE, but leave a few exit paths.

Then you have heaps of ammo and enough MRE's to last seemingly forever.

...much better than a prison which probably lacks lethal weapons, and more importantly, explosives.

Being with one other person on an isolated small island in the carribean would be good. The climate would be temperate, there would be plenty of resources and fish for two people, we wouldn't have to worry about zombies because its a very small island and no one gives a fuck about it. However, getting there would be a little dicey... Good thing I live in Seattle where there are a shit ton of seaplanes two blocks from my house to be commandeered. Ideally I would commandeer an amphibious plane (with wheels in the bottom of the floats) for landing on water or on land. We'd carry a shitload of fuel and rifles and fishing gear and be good. Anytime we want to go fishing once were out on the island, we could just go out in the plane and use it like a boat. Also a good escape method if any zombies get onto the island.

Im just going to stay in Northern Ontario. We have 5 hydro electric dams so electricity is not a problem.

Food is the simple fact of going hunting, gardens, and fishing. Weapons are simple, as well as the zombie problem. Just wait till winter comes with -40....then no more Zombie problem.

^Are zombies affected by intense climate? I've never heard of zombies freezing to death or dying from heat stroke. Of course, there have never really been real zombies so no one knows, but is that what the movies say?

Who the fuck's going to maintain the electrical infrastructure once they're all turned to zombies...

and zombies are dead and don't feel shit. I doubt they will give a fuck about -40 like we will.
