fucking owners. seriously, in the last lockout players were making 76% of all revenues. yes, that was absurdly high and higher than any other professional sport. now, 57% with a salary cap? 2mil as the average salary? in my opinion that isn't too much. after all, we watch the game for the players, not the fucking suits that sit up in their press boxes sipping martinis. the players deserve the money. they train for years and years, live and breathe the game of hockey, have to beat out how many other guys who think they're the next wayne gretzky? well, all of canada, for starters. if 1/10,000 hockey players makes the bigs and gets paid a couple mil for it, so what. the fucking politics make me sick, and totally ass fuck us fans. 43% of 3.3billion is like 1.4billion. is that not enough for the owners and rest of the nhl?
