pyschadelics are such a powerful substance that everyone should experience. when alcohol is legal and pot/mushrooms are illegal you know your society is fucked.

implying that the legality of psiolcybin/thc is whats holding society from functioning. ah to be 17 again.

Thank god! I have been an avid fan of Terence for a year now. I always wanted to share what he had to say on NS but I didn't think this community would give Terence the time of day. Here's my favorite video by him since it really resonates with my own life. I know that I have an extraordinarily hard time communicating with people. Not that I have trouble actually talking or relaying ideas, its more of the fact that what I understand and am trying to communicate is usually misunderstood by the other person. Our language is filled with ambiguity and can really fall short at times especially when it deals with intimate relationships. I don't think existing spoken languages are able to actual convey how we feel for one another emotionally. While on this topic, Terence was a master of using language. Listening to him speak is so engaging and he can carry you away into the imagination. Anyways, check out this video. I'm real glad you posted this thread :) Thanks

I think your implied point was that alcohol doesn't churn any mental gears, it just makes you feel good about yourself and comfortable with others. Psychedelics including weed make you question yourself, your government, your character, and how you treat others. Its a heightening of senses bringing you to realizations about the world and yourself that you wouldn't have under normal consciousness. So I'm guessing your point is that a government that bans psychedelics drugs and allows for a slobish drugs is a government that stands in the way of decency and understanding.
