Is 9200 a lot? What would you guys consider too much; something you wouldn't buy?

Yea thats not really that much at all. I have had my camera for a year and i have put 20k shutter clicks on it, and i do mostly video

I guess you're referring to shutter actuations? If so that's not that much for a newer DSLR. They are generally built to last a very long time.

9200 isn't much at all. Camera bodies are rated differently, so for higher shutter counts you should also mention which body you're talking about.

Not much. Any camera should be able to handle 100k actuations, newer camera's are rated for 200.000+ as long as you don't buy an entry level one.
In case you're wondering for buying second-hand: I wouldn't give it second thought if the actuations are below 25000.

yeah thats not much at all. i put over 20k actuations on my 7D in around 2 weeks when I was in Africa 2 summers ago. I just recently sold it with around 55k actuations and that seemed pretty average.

i'm bound to have about 40,000 because i shoot timelapses all the time, and sometimes i'll get about 2,000 pictures for one timelapse. my t3i is still going strong, though!
