During the Obama era, the amount of medical marijuana dispensaries increased 400% over the bush era. Romney would fight to get rid of all of that. Also, Obama hasn't really picked a side, and could definitely do that once he secures a second term.

The only reason it can lead to you trying different drugs is because it is put on the black market and people come into contact with harder drugs because of the black market. This argument makes much more sense than the anti-weed propaganda, especially when you bear in mind that there are no pharmacological effects of the drug itself that make you want to do/try anything stronger.

Yes an no. I hear you that there are important issues but still. Freedom is something that we shouldn't just write off so easily.

Every step the government has taken to gain more power and control over people is a big deal. And honestly I'd rather see somebody vote because of this issue than because the person made good eye contact, likes the same sports team, came from their state, or because their friends are voting for them.

So writing off people that feel this issue is important is pretty fucking stupid. With the amount of straight ignorant people it honestly can't really be much worse than the masses that generally vote.

Basically I'm saying if you're hating on this, you pretty much have to hate almost everybody.

Well... it kind is a gateway for me. Until I had started smoking, I thought psychedelics were the devil and wanted nothing to do with them. After smoking for some time I wanted to see what the big deal was with psychedelics, so I tried them. Legally, they are harder drugs and I suppose they do carry a much bigger risk for negative side effects.
