I own the 10/11 and they haven't changed the dimensions or flex since i got them but I havent tried the "new" blend but the differences in the ski won make a massive difference to how it rides, other than its lighter. It is a go everywhere ski, and i've used it everywhere. its fat enough to shred pow nicely, got enough effective edge & sidecut that you feel comfortable when it get steep & technical and its not too wide or heavy to throw around in the park (even more so since the lightened it and reduced the swing weight) Plus its super flexy & playful if your into your butters, etc. I use it mainly as a pow/sidecountry ski and love it and i've friends who use it as a all out park ski and love it too. One thing I would say is, on hardpack at fairly high speeds you do get a little chatter from the tip and tails as its so flexy but if you mount somewhere between centre and -4cm you should be good.
I get it pretty bad but i was a moron and mounted at the core centre -7. I think if i were to chose again i would maybe go for the bacons as they are a little wider but seem to have a bit of a stiffer flex thus eliminating the chatter but ik remounting with schizos for centre and -3 in the hope of reducing chatter and putting me in a better place on the ski for the riding i do.
2013 blends are lighter than previous versions. they are fun and jibby, but dont expect crazy amounts of float on deep days, as they are barely over 100 underfoot. they arent a ski for a skier that likes to do nothing but go fast. i also would size up based on the one i rode, as the early rise shortens the feel, but i suppose length will depend on your height/ riding style, etc.
