Trew has a 40% off sale the first week or two in April every year to end the season, it's the best money you will ever spend on outerwear. If you don't know about Trew Gear I suggest you educate yourself, you won't be disappointed.

I completely understand the desire to have something that will last forever but in all honesty who on here has been into the same style/color way of outerwear for more than two years? Thats great if you do. But companies dont make new outerwear every year because the shit is not going to last. If that were the case they would make the same exact stuff year after year. The idea behind getting new outerwear isnt always because your shit is trashed, its because you want something new and different from what you had last year.

I see your point however if that is the case Trew holds it's value very well therefore you simply re-sell it and pay the difference for new Trew Gear.

Does anybody know the zipper or shoulder to bottom lengts of L and XL Bellows jacket?

I really like trew, and would love a bellows in plain black. Anny advise, im 6,1 and 173 pounds

i've had the same patagonia jacket for the last 7 years.  it's black and grey and dope as hell...still.  i would rather spend my money on new skis than what's the "cool" new jacket/pants.

thats fine. not saying thats why everyone buys new outerwear (or doesnt). but why do you buy new skis? is it because they are trashed or because you want to experience something new and different? all im trying to say is that in my experience regardless of the condition prior to the start of the season everybody usually wants to get new stuff. Whether they break down and spend the money or save it for more important things is up to them. But they still wouldnt mind getting something new.

Thanks, too bad so little company's give you measurements of their garments.

Its funny how we want to get (and usualy get) the exact specs of a ski, lengts, radius, amount of camber, sometimes even the measurements of the rocker, width at 3 point...ect, ect. But with garments you get vague size charts.

Nicely done! too bad saga is not what im looking for :).

I think in these days of online ordering this is the way to go for outerwear. especially for small brands. Or are retailers holding brands back from doing such a thing, because it would make buying clothes online even easyer?

Look at it like this; We buy ski's(online) we want to know everything about them. Dimensions, salesmen advise, reviews, video's, even advise on newschoolers ;-). And we go on and buy them without even testing them( some ppl get that chance). Its always a (little)gamble, until you have ridden them a few times.
Outerwear on the other hand, we have all kinds of numbers on waterproofing, bareathability, used materials, pockets, zips, gadgets. If the manufactrer would supply the garments measurements you could make a pretty good quess of what you are getting.

Just because you want to know the length of a jacket doesnt mean you are "faggy" or that youre trying to find the tallest thing out. That is such an ignorant comment. You cant physically try the gear on if youre ordering on line so how else are you supposed to figure out how it will fit you? Being concerned with the fit of something is pretty common. Youre doing a physical activity and having equipement that fits you well only helps you perform to your best ability.

maybe you sit the next few plays out until youre ready to contribute something of value.

Ive had my trew bibs for the past 3 years i believe... Hands down the best pair of pants  i have every owned! I think i have one inch rip on the bottom of my left pant because i was lazy and didnt roll up my pant legs after i got off the mountain.. But anyways they are worth every penny

Stuff is super heavy but super durable. Apparently next year the fabric is getting lighter because they are moving away from gelenots for some other fabric/waterproof membrane combination

And I spent about $550 on a cosmic jacket and eagle pants a couple years back. They were pretty poor products honestly. The jacket started filing immediately. The pants held ok but one of the Velcro waist-straps broke one day, so now I have to use a belt to wear those.

Long story short is that the saga jacket and pants I have are much better than trew in all areas (price, mobility, durability, etc.) And saga makes much better looking products (which is only my opinion of course).

And fuck you BCASSASIN, give the kid his $110
