Favorite Ski Town

I've been moving around since I've been old enough to and had enough money. I'm looking for a dope ski town, not a resort ski town. I want powder and a chill place to live. So I've come to you newschoolers, what is your favvvvvvvv

I wanna go to Telluride. I'm living in Pagosa (town south of Wolf Creek Pass) right now. I'm not working or going to school this fall. I'm thinking about taking a couple of day trips up to Telluride.

I just moved out to CO from NY. It's so sick to be skiing the places I've been dreaming about my entire life. Everyone I worked with were so confused why I was so excited to ski this season. You guys are really fortunate to live here, yet you are cursed as well. It's like when you are stuck out in the cold unprepared. Your body is numb and you tremor, but you know. You know, that when you get in to a nice heated space you will truly enjoy the comforts of the heat.

I'm also going to be skiing Wolf Creek and backcountry around the pass!

This could be revelstoke by changing the first point to bc, adding the highest vertical in north america, one of the biggest snowfalls in north America and some of the lightest powder in the world

Can't believe more people are not saying whistler,ski town during summer and winter, amazing biking during summer, dirt jumps, skate park, and the night life is absolutely unreal

Golden, BC.

Tons of vertical at Kicking Horse, easy sidecountry access. Small town vibe. Plenty of summer activities in the summer. Rather inexpensive. 90 minutes to Revelstoke (given the pass is open and safe), 60 minutes to Lake Louise, 90 minutes to Banff, 150 minutes to Calgary.

I love the town. It has everything I want in it.

can't believe nobody's said Steamboat yet. Chillest atmosphere, best snow, pretty sick mountain, decent park, fucking awesome community, people are so chill, summers are sooo nice, endless things to do. PM if you want more info beezy

definition of ski town: Rossland BC

small town, chill people, perfict mountain, red and granite arent huge but when it snows there are fresh tracks all day, and literaly no lines.

honestly, breck sucks IMO. its just a suburb of denver, way too many people, way too many people with a shitty stuck up attitude, skiing is pretty much park centric. There is decent skiing but its fucking crowded. Not to say its all bad, im sure you can find a good group of people and some fun terrain, but after skiing in Summit county all of my younger life, I would never choose to live there

They're there. There's been a recent flock of chicks there lately. When I was at my parents last (in Golden), I saw a fair amount of new girls and a friend had told me that there's just this group of outdoorsy chick that came.
Plus we get the Norwegian babes.

Plus, Beezey is a girl...

They are there, but in my experience any girl who lives in Breck for more than two weeks gets a boyfriend. I shit you not out of the 15 girls I know and I'm good friends with over the two years of me living there. all of them have boyfriends bitches get scooped up so quickly there, or they are just ugly bitchs that get passes around town, and no one wants to be seen with them.

Do not rule out all ski towns. In many cases you can beat the large crowds as apposed to a weekend getaway hill. Although my choice is a little bias. Aspen is the truth. Cant go wrong with 4 hills within a free bus ride.
