How to listen to music on Youtube in Germany.

Just as the title says, I know why the GEMA has all of it blocked, but how can I bypass it, I'm sure there is a way.

Yo homie i see youre studying abroad in germany! i did it last year, hit me up if wanna hear anything.

anyway, GEMA is a bitch, there isnt too much you can do. the best option is to find a proxy server, and you need to change the origin country to basically anything else. i never bothered, so i dont have any good sites for you. if youre super super desperate, try hidemyass.com, but its really shitty quality.

yeah. luckily i don't really use youtube for music, but it's frustrating that i can't even check up on some of my own videos because of that. hulu being blocked is also annoying

If you use a VPN, you will be able to use Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, Pandora and any other site that is blocked. I was using a VPN for a while before i started traveling around a lot more. Works well, is reliable, and does what it claims to do. VPN's work better than Proxies from my experience. There are some free ones out there, but they typically get blocked really fast.

VPN and Proxy are very different things. Hidemyass.com does have a proxy option as well as a VPN option. I have used hidemyass before with no better outcome than the one I posted above. The difference is that Hidemyass is crazy expensive.

Use this Addon for Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/stealthy/

You can activate an us or uk proxy with just one click and then you can watch the videos on yt etc.
