The Griffon is burlier than the Squire, it features triple pivot elite and inter pivot heel the same toe and heel piece as the Jester. The new Squire features the same triple pivot elite toe but has the hollow linkage heel piece. If you're set on Marker try to pick up the 10-11 as I believe this model featured some metal. Other options you might wan't are STH12 Driver (not oversize driver version is far superior), tyrollia peak12 and Rossignol Axial2 120. I have spent quite a while on the Axial2 120 and was really impressed by them, check out my review - http://aslansskiblog.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/rossignol-axial2-120-ski-binding-review.html
If your gona do park I think the sth12 driver is the way to go... They'll hold up better than the plastic griffons! I think they're right around the same price!
