The petitor is better on groomers and chop, but isn't as floaty as the hellbent in pure pow. The hellbent is also softer and better for jibbing and messing around whereas the petitor is stiffer and better for charging. I own the hellbents, but I spent a full demo day on the petitor, they're both great skis, it just depends on what you want.
This. The petitor replaces the obsethed so it is intended as a all mountain pow ski for resorts. It can handle just about any condition but is a stiffer more down to business ski. Hellbents are giant surfy pow boards which are ok in non-pow conditions but are more meant for someone who is going to jib around and not haul ass everywhere.
Also a note. Hellbents are really sketchy in hard conditions. Amazing in everything else.
Pettitors. The hellbents are almost too big and the pettitors are perfect size you can stomp huge cliffs, cut through a groomer into some trees and they aren't too heavy and Youll still be able to play around with the pettitors......and you can ahve the same skis as sean pettit. Pettitors.
The Petitors are still way soft, just flexed them... that being said, my dad is currently demoing a pair, and he loves them. But compared to my Jeffreys, they are soft.
