I'm usually still drunk when I get first chair so I don't need to drink for the rest of the day. It's only in the morning when it's cold you need a buzz to keep warm anyway.
I always have at least a beer or two while putting on my boots in the morning. I love the first beer buzz on a cold powder day, the first chair ride is always full of overexcited anticipation and possibilities. And lunch has beer too, but it's never as magical...
I've done it a few times. I hate skiing park when I do because I either end up having the best run of my life or getting pretty hurt. Most of the time I get hurt. Either way, I don't need any substance in me to make skiing any better than it already is.
I usually pregame and bring up a flask of hard alcohol to drink through out the day to keep my buzz going. The trick is to drink just enough in order to boost your courage and have a good time, but not too much so that your motor skills aren't impaired.
Love getting a nice buzz before the day going to the lift/ first lift up....not a fan of getting pretty drunk just drunk enough that im like shittt this is awsome but can still rip pretty hard, but I hate getting real drunk where I cant really ski straight thats basically like drinking and driving not a huge fan of that. All about the perfect balance
