A Basin Friday

alright everyone now that loveland pass ski area opened up on friday this coming friday a basin is opening and from the looks of going to the actual pass it looks like a small park with some long rails way up top. anyone seen this?

I went to abasin mid-season two years ago and their terriain park was laughable

well laughable or not im still gonan be there either sessioning an ealy season park or just skiing to get some turns in. does it really matter? it's all the same. like i said before let me know if your going that weekend i'll be there. prolly on mo ships

^^if you think that there are rails in that pic, you're silly. those are fences that are used to prevent snowdrifts and cornices.

those aren't rails by the way, also, A-basin isn't known for having a good park because they simply destroy any other hill in overall techincally hard ass lines. When that place is full of snow, and all open, it is one of the best and hardest places to ride. If you are there for a park, you shouldn't even be there.....

those are definitely fences. a basin has sick ass terrain and is a bad ass mountain. last year they at least tried to put together a respectable park. they had the highest park elevation wise in the us, it was open much later than anything else in colorado last year. they will be improving it a lot this year too. the park is going to double in size and they are putting in some new rails.

uh yea......i got the pass if a basin has a park i'll be there, otherwise i'll drive the 5 minutes to loveland.....either way i'll be riding.
