So i accidentally formated my card and lost magic lantern, so i went back to install the newest version onto my card.
The camera keeps shutting off and giving me error 20 message if i am in photo mode. if im in video mode the camera just shuts off and wont turn on until i remove battery and turn on.
are my cards corrupted? or is it something else? i did a google search but didnt find much.
thanks!

i'd try just reformatting the cards, putting ML back on and trying to upgrade the firmware on your cam

now my camera wont even turn on, iv had problems like this before and buying a new card has helped.
i have 4 different cards and none of them work in my t2i but when i put them into my go pro they work and record fine.
my t2i wont even turn on anymore:(
not sure if a new card would help.

This happened to me and I had to restore (re-format) my cards and camera and install again. If it keeps happening maybe re install the older version.

pop your card into your computer
open up disk utility (for mac)
erase data in preset options through disk utility
format on camera
download ML
drag and drop autoexec.bin, the .fir file corresponding to your camera (T2i/550D I assume), and the folder with all the cropmarks etc.
Update firmware in the 3rd wrench on the camera menu
done!
