First Edit, Critique away! shot with a t2i at 60fps hence me getting carried away with the slomo, video quality was an issue looked good in FCP, worse after export and really bad once on vimeo, i converted at the footage to 30fps before importing to FCP maybe that was the problem? shot with a kit lense and no tripod :S looking for tripod or steady cam recommendations too, now everyone have an excellent day and thank you!

Final cut pro. He said it twice.

I loved that edit. The song fit so well with what you guys were doing.
As far as the quality, did you make sure that you conformed the sequence settings to match the video settings? Otherwise you'll get weird/ not good looking settings which means it turns out with worse quality.
If you did that fine, did you export to quicktime using most recent settings? If not you can get some more weird things happening. Just always double check that everything still says 1280 (?) x720 (or whatever you filmed in) every step of the way and that the codec is the same as what you conformed it to before opening it in fcp throughout the whole process.
Did you compress it before uploading it? Because quality can get weird in that step too.

I thought the song could have worked really well with the edit, but the pacing didn't really match the song. Your cuts seemed pretty arbitrary. There were a lot of really obvious cues in that song that would have made for awesome cuts. Obviously a tripod or some sort of stabilization would have helped you a lot too, but I thought it looked ok considering you had nothing.

What programs did you use and what settings did you use for transcoding/exporting?

Also, best way to handle 60p footage is to use cinema tools to conform to 24fps and then edit in a 24 fps timeline. If you want regular speed footage just speed it up to 240%.
