Im really stuck here. I had the Punx last year and loved their playfulness and how buttery they were, but found I didn't like how 'flimsy they were when sliding rails and stomping some jumps. And I had the suspects the year before, and didn't like the stiffness at all, and they just got demolished because of poor construction. I'm looking for a ski for 50% rails 50% jumps 100% ALL park ski. I'v been lookin at the armada line, possibly scott, considering giving the punx another shot, going into looking at some nice private companies like moment and ON3P, but seem to find that the skis in everyones line is either super stiff and durable, or buttery soft and flimsy. I want a ski that I can ollie, nollie, tail press, nose press, butter, pop up onto rails, and pop off of jumps on that can hold their edge and not vibrate on rails or not give me play when off balance landing or not stomping completely. I am 5'9 and 135 now...... I need help newschoolers, whats the ski for me?

Here's what i've skied and my thoughts.
ON3P Blue Steele: Favorite park ski that I've been on. Fun and buttery because of the rocker, but still stiff enough to handle jumps. The Filthy Rich is a better version of this ski so I'd def check it out.
Volkl Wall: The year I rode them was the stiffest that they've made them. I hear they're a bit softer now. Great stability. Can handle everything pretty well.
Volkl Ledge: Noodly. Wasn't a fan of how soft they were.
Line Afterbang: They were heavy, but still fun to ski on. Definitely wouldn't recommend them for bigger jumps.
I'd check out the ar7 too. supposed to be a great ski to handle everything.

I'm interested in hearing if people have trouble buttering on the Filthy or Blue Steele, prototype season is just around the corner and we're always looking for feedback...

I'll test it out and give some feedback as soon as possible this season.
I've never had a problem buttering anything. Anthems, AR6s, hell, even 194 New Lifes maching down a cat track off a roller.
For me, Anthems have been the flexiest and smoothiestest skis I've been on. You can press any which way on them and they'll go right to it. No questions asked.
I've heard people having trouble with butters, but most of the time they aren't able to execute them properly. I've even tried out skis that people have claimed "too stiff" and have had no problem with.
With the Filthys in question, I can only imagine they'll butter like a hot knife. Rocker does wonders for butters.
Until I'm on my pair though, my vote is for the Anthem.

Anthems/afterbangs are my favorite skis for butters. Filthy are great too, but you dont press in the same way. Its more like aggressive and not as laid back.

clearly atomic punx. iv been on so many skis and im stuck with them now. ive bought 3 pairs in a row. so responsive, extremely light (lightest ski ive ever held in my hand) so easy to throw around. ive hit 60 footers and have had no problems with washing out. the best skis imo out there.

I really enjoy the flex of the Filthy Rich, stable for big landings but forgiving and buttery when I want them to. If you trust the rocker on them you can really put your weight into them and get some crazy butters out of them. They sound like exactly what you're looking for in a ski.

I would ski the Anthem and see if you like it. They are making it again, its called the traveling circus. It really is super durable, I still ski my first production year anthem in the woods and thin cover. extra thick edges can be a bitch to fix if you have a habit of bashing them off shit, on the other hand you have extra think edges...
