(hope my english can tell the story) he's a friend of mine, we ski a lot together and his story is pretty special and impressive i think:
4 years ago, the doc said he should quit downhill biking, so around spring he thought what can i do else.
he bought a summerticket in saasfee and a bed in an appartement and started park skiing! so he went from 0 to 100. he learned pretty fast, trained on tramp and diving board aswell and 1.5 years later he already threw his first dub cork!
i told him he should do some comps,but he isn't interested in it at all and just wants to have fun with friends, which is actually what skiing should be about!
past season he came from a broken collar bone, so he didn't push too hard but i'm really looking forward to the upcoming winter.
his name is patric bernhard and the shot was taken in arosa, switzerland last year on a early morning shoot. that pic wasn't on ns yet! maybe i'll upload later, could fit well for an frontpage picture!
it's hard to get him on tape, cause he's the kind of guy who can't wait till the cam is ready or the light is good, he just wants to ski and have fun! though i hope this winter we can get some shots of him for our little episodes we do since the past season, if ur interested like us on facebook:
