Replying to Doing a ski season- where??

Sup guys, first time long timer here, looking to do a ski season somewhere out west. I know this thread has probably been done to death but just wanted some fresh opinions. Looking to go out west after this semester, so I'll probably be leaving the great state of Michigan mid-december. Only places I've been to out west are in Summit County, which seems to get a lot of hate around here. But I do like it out there, and its definitely in my list of possibilities. I also like the idea of Utah, but really am open to anything. Saved up a bit of $ over the summer, but still dont want to spend a ton on rent. Any suggestions and experiences are great, thanks for the help.
