Funny you say that because this bitch I'm friends with on Facebook literally corrects every single person on Facebook. Like people she doesn't even know and on serious conversations. Like this girl was saying someone through a rock through her window and people were commenting and she was like "this is probably a bad time... but *you're".. so I told her to shut the fuck up and quit being a fucking tool and go outside and get a life becaise she sits on Facebook and plays computer games all day. I seriously hurt her feelings and she got all butthurt about it, +1 for me.

and I don't even know if I buy that 400,000 deaths number. Yeah a lot of em are probably contributed by smoking but I bet some of em are lumped in with cigarette smokers.

Do you know if you work in a poorly ventilated woodshop it's just as bad for your lungs as smoking. Same for coal mines or dilapitated buildings that still have asbestos.

I'm not saying to write off all lung cancers deaths as not smokings fault. I'm just saying there are a lot of other contributing factors to lung cancer, but if someone dies from it and they happened to be a smoker....boom number goes up by one regardless of what may have been the major factor.

An estimated 46 million American adults currently smoke cigarettes, there are even more that probably quit years ago and will stiff suffer debilitating effects from smoking. I personally would estimate the number of americans who actually tree ski hard to be about 50,000 (being generous). You cant compare the death count from such a popular thing with such an unpopular one. I bet you could easily find as many people that have smoked their whole lives and not had any serious side effects than you could find people who tree ski and live to tell the tale.

Camel lights is what I smoke, started with marlboro lights at about age 13 round about the same time I started smoking weed too. I'm not proud of the fact that I've been smoking that long, I am proud of the fact that I've never smoked more than a pack a day and that's rare actually. I'm proud of the fact that I can still out work and am more gung ho to hike up hill than 75% of the teenagers I work with on park crew at my local hill. Been smoking longer than these kids have been alive, so excuse me for getting a little defensive when someone acts like I'm parttaking in a death sentence of a habit. Besides I don't wanna live to an old enough acge where i have to crap in a bag and my kids don't wanna take care of me and stuff me in a home.

I was only making that comparison because he tried to say tree skiing is equally as bad for you as smoking cigarettes, and that is obviously bullshit. So I was only illustrating that tobacco kills you. Tree skiing doesn't. If you are a smoker I will just stop because it is difficult to persuade an idiot he is in the wrong.

Actually tree skiin and extreme skiing does kill you, just not at as high of a rate. Many people die every year from skiing alone, be it in the trees or jumps or cliffs or pipes. Be careful out there and wear your helmet, or don't if you like it that way I'm not gonna tell you how to enjoy yourself.

when it comes to tobacco moderation is key, like everything in life, if you smoke a pack a day for years and years guess what you will get lung cancer and die, if you smoke a cigarette a day you will not significantly reduce your lifespan

yeah my grandfather died smoking cigarettes, but when you smoke a pack plus a day for 50 years what do you expect?

Most people don't start smoking with the intention of smoking over a pack a day. It's an addiction. Yeah there are people who smoke a cig every once in a while but still. It's not like it's something that's recommended for people to try as a once in a while.

Been smoking too long, on the lightest shit I can find now. I only really smoke at work, kind of a shitty way for a break but w/e. If I'm at home, Its a doob. I'm English so I roll a little different than most.

In other news. I get great enjoyment in the grammar Nazi's and how their callouts are made. Fucking love seeing people lose their shit over it. I'll comment "you're/your" just for shits and giggles on some of my friends statuses etc, all because you get back "OMG DOES IT MATTER, DO I GO OFF AT YOU FOR USING WANKER, GOD, JEEZ, GET A LIFE, NAZI". Hahahahah.

Fucking hialrious seeing people take the internet seriously. One of the reasons I have facebook. To laugh at the people who bitch and post about food and to rile people up with grammar comments.

I make more grammitical errors than most on this site and generally laugh at myself when I do.

I used to be real big into Djarum Black Clove cigars, usually menthol, but now i've grown kinda sick of them... the i smoked camel crush's and menthols... now i've been smoking turkish royals and been rolling my own american spirits.

I'm planning on quitting september 1st though, at least for the whole month of september... i don't think it will be too hard.
