Lenses for Canon 60D?

So this kind of post has probably been posted before so i'm prepared for the criticism but I don't know much about lenses to use with the 60D for cinematography, park shoots, and mountain biking. Please tell me what lenses I should use and anything else I should know.

tamron 17-50 rokinon 8mm or tokina 11-16 for long lense cant go wrong with the canon 70-200 but if ur really serious make sure u get f/2.8 is if not the f/4 is much cheaper

Does anyone know anything about the Tokina AT-X 116 PRO DX AF 11-16mm f/2.8 Lens I heard it is a nice wide angle lens but what are the down sides and what shots am I minimized to taking with this kind of lens?

im honestly sure when i say 1/2 of people who film with DSLR's on NS have that lens, like me.

I love my 11-16, a necessity for follow cams and as stated by 4BI9, they cause feature to look bigger up close, which is handy for dual angle shots.

I have a Circular linear polarizer on mine which is amazing, if you get an 11-16, i recommend getting one, but you can do just fine without one.
PROS:
Great for close up/follow cams
Pretty hefty( you can knock it around a bit without it damaging)

Cons:
Its UWA properties makes shooting things from far away a challenge, you have to be pretty close
