Im looking for a good lens for followcam and i heard the 30mm is a great lens, i was wondering if anyone knows about the 10-20 and if its a better lens. Its definitly a wider angle too.
if you want to do follows, look for lens in the 8mm-17mm range. The rokinon 8mm fish is a great super wide lens for follow caming and the sigma 10-20 is another cheaper very wide lens. The next step up is the tokina 11-16 but its 600-700 bucks. Also, a tamron 17-50 is wide enough to follow but also long enough for hand held/tripod. it all depends on what you want, to focus on the "niceness" of a lens, pick a lens based on its utility.
