Gonna be announced early september. Available in october. Whos getting one?

I have had the same 3gs for 3 years so I'm gonna pick one up for sure. If i get another iphone on the same carrier, can i swap between my iPhone 5 and 3gs just by swapping the SIM card? I wanna use my 3gs as my party phone when i go out at night.

Anyways. This video shows that the screen will be larger and the dock connector will be different. Anyone know of anything else? I hear there was gonna be an "iPhone wallet" app.

I'm just going to throw it out here and might get hated on a ton but I think it would be cool if apple integrated the charger to be like an SD card some how. Now I don't know anything about chargers or how the cards work etc but that would be pretty convienent when carrying a camera around or other things. Just my little idea

Verizon is trying to squeeze the money out anyway they can. I called them up to see if I would still have my unlimited plan if I bought the iphone 5. They said no. I would be down graded to the 2gb a month. And its only with the iphone 5. Such bullshit. Looks like I am sticking with android.

the port is another excuse to make money. if they wanted to be innovative then they would use a micro usb but then they wouldn't have customers buying new ports.

With the battery optimization, my buddy had to charge his Driod twice every three days. An iPhone will last two to three days on one charge.

I have neither, I have a dumbphone. But I'm thinking about sipping on that smartphone Kool Aid soon and it will probably be an iPhone.

pretty sure thats not the case. havent u heard the term grandfathered into unlimited? like people that had iphone 1 and iphone 3g still have unlimited with 4 and 4s so why would they decide to change that now

its not an excuse, the 30pin is 10 years old and too big at this point, to make the iPhone 5 as thin as they did they needed to make a tiny port with most of the capabilities the 30pin had, miniUSB can't do that, and also it can't click into place like Apples and a lot of other ports do, which sucks

Yeah, my iPhone 4 maybe lasts half a Day in my pockets ocasianlly texting , it's so lame I have to take my charger to school and like plug it in while I'm in class. iPhone battery's suck

my pops dropped his 4 in the water and it still works but he has insurance and is going to get a new one, anyone know if verizon takes the old phone?

im wondering what the best plan is though? verizon is hella expensive for data, but has solid coverage for the PNW.

sprint, and at&t both have decent coverage around these parts.

I upgraded to 5 and not only did I get to keep unlimited data, they gave me 4G LTE for the same $30 price.

they have one thats $0.11 with sketchy reviews so if it were me id just buy a couple of those but still a total steal i dont see why anyone has an excuse for complaining about a shitty battery

Anyone know how well mirrored screen protectors work? Also what positions are you guys on the wait list. I'm 3372 hope I don't have to wait forever to get a phone shipped

I hate screen protectors, they make something nice just worse and annoying.

A phone is meant to be used, it's not some precious artifact from the land before time.

They are horrible don't get them. In bright sun there is so much glare and you cant see a thung unless the brightness is all the way up.

You sure are cranky about it though..

Battery life all depends on the usage.

If you're only texting, and barely running any other apps, your phone will last for a few days with no charge.

If you're playing games a lot, and the screen is constantly lit, your battery will last a day.

If you're using data, and constantly browsing the internet, your phone will last less. With wifi, your phone might last longer than it would if it was always on 3G.

When I was travelling around Europe, I kept my phone on airplane mode constantly, only using it for music and a camera, along with imessage. It could last 2 days with that stuff, and longer if it's just idle..

$9.99 extra family line, it doesn't matter, unlimited talk, text and data.

I've had the same plan for 7 years and I just set up an automatic transfer to my dad when I went to college and started paying for my own stuff. That way none of us need to change our plans and continue to grandfather in.
