Gonna be announced early september. Available in october. Whos getting one?

I have had the same 3gs for 3 years so I'm gonna pick one up for sure. If i get another iphone on the same carrier, can i swap between my iPhone 5 and 3gs just by swapping the SIM card? I wanna use my 3gs as my party phone when i go out at night.

Anyways. This video shows that the screen will be larger and the dock connector will be different. Anyone know of anything else? I hear there was gonna be an "iPhone wallet" app.

They put "tilt zoom" for example, in their list, but in the iPhone list they didn't put "pinch zoom"... that makes sense.

This has been stated at least once a page. We all get it. iPhones have things androids can't do, and vice-versa. It comes down to personal preference and its dumb when people bash one or the other

100% serious. when 4s came out everyone said omg no 4g same stupid design small screen this sucks. you now have a big screen completely new thinner form factor with aluminum back and 4g. plus they made it faster, better screen color, less glare improved camera added new features. literally every single thing is changed please elaborate how it sucks

You make it sound like those are significant changes. Which they're not. There's nothing revolutionary about the new iphone like apple claims it to be.
- Thinner. Ok gotta give it to em, although it's like 2mm.
- Bigger screen. Oh, more cumbersome you mean?
- Faster. Of course it is. Technology advances
- Better screen? Nope...
- New camera? Nope

The only good iPhone was the 3GS, because the 3G sucked. Considering that was 4 years ago, nothing has changed except for the camera.

more cumbersome? they kept the exact width and only made it slightly taller. Still easy to use in one hand unlike a lot of massive Androids

and the 4S camera was already the best phone camera there is, they made improvements with the 5 but why fix what ain't broke

Apple started off with a revolutionary device (original iphone) from there its all been marketing, slight improvements in display, battery, power.

Apple has made billions on what has been in principle the same device. I applaud them for that.

welp youre an idiot. literally the only thing 3gs had over 3g was a slightly faster processor and an extra megapixel bringing it to a shitty 3mp without flash. o and video recording which was pointless anyway and looked like crap

you're forgetting how future-proof the 3GS is, I've used one with iOS6 on it and it still runs reasonably well, where on the other hand iOS4 runs like shit on the 3G

i really cant argue with that. i jailbroke my 3g so i could get folders and backgrounds and all the other shit they left out in ios 4 for the 3g but it was still stupid slow the ram upgrade in 3gs really helped

still hate my droid.... so many software problems and it became obsolete after a year. and for one plus side to a 30 pin connector is when your driving it doesn't pop out. 4 pins suck.

Is there a way to use an iphone as a computer/camera/contacts/planner etc? when i move back to norway having a portable device like this would be awesome for travelling on the go stuff. but paying for a device internationally is way outa my price range. like i wouldnt need cell service, i would just get a dumbphone there.

yea. you're better off getting the unlock code from a third party website, it's cheaper. to unlock a phone, rogers charges like 50 dollars, while i bought the code for my samsung for 7

i bought an itouch for when i was in brazil for 2 months last summer. used it for facebook/email/skype and stuff. i think it was $150 off craigslist for the 32g one with the camera

except not. because the OS is not open source it is not anywhere close to as customizable. you can practically do anything to linux based operating system if you know how to do it.

the new thing with phones is more screen and less bevel on the front, that thing has big chunks of space on the top and bottom that's not part of the screen

manufacturers are going for something like this

the funny thing is, is that you're a moron and you don't know how to take advantage of the android OS, and barely and NSers do. The fact of the matter is, is that android has super POTENTIAL to be ultra customizable, but it's not there yet.

However, a jailbroken iphone supplies cydia--an open source repo where you can upload any apps you create, however i cant create these apps but tons of programmers have done so, and uploaded them to cydia

You have no idea what you're talking about...

You can install any app you want to Android. And you don't have to be rooted to do so.

And it doesn't have the potential..it is already way more customizable than iOS. I sure as hell don't know how to program but I bet my android os is different than everyone elses.

Take apple's dick out of your mouth for a second because you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. Android has potential to be super customizable and that potential is used even without rooting. When you jailbreak an iPhone you don't even get what an unrooted android can do. With a rooted android you can get basically any os running on it. Some phones have iOS i'm pretty sure. You said android has potential but it's not being used but you dont know shit. Android's potential is being used while what little potential ios has is barely used. I dont even hate apple like you hat android but android is way more advanced than ios. Even android 2.2 is more advanced than ios 6.
