Just posted this in NSG and apparently the final shred of hope I had for that forum has torn over the last 4 months that I have been inactive on NS but anyways....
My email is sending a spam message to people that I have recently sent emails to.
My OS is snow leopard and I am using the mail aplication on my computer if that is any help.
Please tell me how to stop this madness!

it probably has nothing to do with your computer, but with the mails server.
what is your email accounts domain? (ex. gmail.com, yahoo.com, etc)
do you have a webmail access point?
is the password for your email account (to access the servers, etc) the same as ones you regularly enter/use for creating accounts on websites?

start with changing your email password. This should stop it. If not, contact the email domain and let them know what is happening. I'd also uninstall/reinstall your desktop mail client

my guess is that you went to a website and at some point created an account for it. They usually ask for your email and a password, and most people tend to use one password for all accounts (including their email). The website is probably shady and either sold your information to some spam company, or is sketchy enough to do it themselves.
