How are the crowds @ Brighton on a pow day?

So I absolutely love Snowbird but I'm considering a Brighton pass due to how crowded the Bird gets on pow days. I've skied at both and without a doubt prefer Snowbirds terrain, but Brighton was great too. I just haven't experienced a real pow day at Brighton so I really don't know what the crowd is like/how fast it gets tracked out. So at the Bird, if it dumps on a Friday night, you know at best you have about maybe two hours of fresh before it gets tracked out assuming you made it up first and know where to go. What is Brighton like on a big pow day? Also for touring, does Brighton have good BC access? And yes I have all my gear/have experience

youll get fresh tracks and be able to hit cliffs all day if youre down to traverse a lil bit

my first 3 seasons in utah it was super mellow, last year because it was such a crap season every time it snowed it was like a fuckin zoo.

Same thing goes for just about everywhere last year.  Powder Panic enhanced for sure.

It is just as crowded so I'd stick to the bird if you like the terrain.

cool thing about brighton is that on an average pow day if you know what chairs and what zones to go to at what times..I guarantee you will ski an untouched line about 90% of your day..

Shouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure out a resort w/ 600 beds that rarely manages to open their bc gates at all let alone on pow days is gonna be a hell of a lot more crowded than a resort with~ 20 beds that rarely closes their bc gates

The two really great things about Brighton is lack of people and cliff lines. Solitude is even more empty, but has less immediate mini golf options

Yeah as long as there are a few more pow days before it than you will be fine. Last year was a jew because there were so few storms that every powder day was busy.

Pretty much at any utah resort, if you know where you're going and time it right, you'll be skiing fresh all day. Even when I'd ski alta on a saturday, hit the right places at the right time and you're skiing fresh til 2-3pm. Brighton definitely is less crowded, but there is alot less sick inbounds terrain than say snowbird. Alta, has more terrain than brighton, but snowbird tops them all when it comes to "sick" (aka fun to ski, not flat as fuck) skiable terrain, but then there are 20 times as many people. In the end it all works out decently, especially if its a weekday. Now, if you like to skin, brighton will suit beyond your wildest dreams.

100% this. I love Brighton over any ski area because on any given pow day I know where my lines are and I know they will be fresh. I also have run into so many booters just chilling in the out-of-bounds areas. Good to know I don't have to make my jumps and you'll meet other people out there doing the same thing as you.

Just gotta be willing to explore.
