I would like to ski everyday, at-least I wish I could. specifically, whats a good way to save money on the slopes, and on gear. I mean I live 2 to 3 hours away from the bigger mountains. +K on ways you saved money on the slopes.

Dont buy this years gear. For the most part last years models are exactly the same, the only difference being the graphic.
Also, taking good care of you're equipment improves the lifespan of your gear. Things like leaving your skis in a dry place, making sure your boots are buckled before you put them away, and waxing your skis will make a big difference.

Bring your own lunch. This is a given. Everyone knows that food at the hill is expensive but still buys food on the hill. Make a sandwitch or wrap, get a bag of chips and put them in your car or backpack.
Volunteer on the mountain. Most mountains will give out passes for a certain amount of days you work. Contact or talked to the workers on the hill and they will send you in the right direction. On my hill volunteer park riders work 15 full days and they get a pass.
Pre-season sales and outlet stores. In my last 5 years of working in the outdoors I have never bought a major item at full price. Skis, backpacks, tents. helmets, goggles, jackets, sleeping pads, boots. Look for sales. You know who cares about what they wear too much? Rich yuppie Gapers. If your gear doesn't match perfectly who cares. Buying last years gear new will save you lots of money.
Gear swaps and ski swaps. Again who cares if your gear is new or used? As long as it fits you properly and it allows you to ski to the best of your abilities. Some used gear might need tweaks like an old pair of boots need a new liner or custom insert. You will still save lots of money buying used.
The sell/trad forum here on NS. Everything park related is proaboly sold here on the website. Most of the sellers or reliyable but just double check to make sure by asking if they have sold stuff on here before. then ask those who have bought from them.

This really works out west when the Mountain company leases the land from forest service or other public agencies.
A lot of hills in Midwest and out east are on private property. If you don't ask if it's okay to hike, they can legally prosecute you for tresspasing. If your doing this just ask them first and make sure they don't care.
