What Goggles?

Hey NS,

This coming season I need to get a new pair of goggles and so far i'm thinking about the Airbrakes or I/O's, right now i'm leaning towards the Airbrakes. I like how both goggles are easy to change lenses. So I guess i'm relying on you guys to help me choose. All legit answers get 10/10 and K+

Crowbars/ Splice > Airbrakes. I personally prefer the Crowbars, really comfy, big and look good i think

Try as many pairs on as possible see which ones fit your face the best and take your helmet and whatever you where underneath it to make you sure your goggles and headwear interface well. There's nothing I hate more than poorly fitting goggles

I've had 2 pairs crowbars over the past 3 years so I wanna switch it up and I don't really like splices. BUt K+

check out the K2 Photokinetic. the optics are by Zeiss, makers of everything from eyeglasses to surgical optic equipment, and they retail for max $135CDN.

i've been using a pair since about mid-last season after coming off of Crowbars and i'm stoked on them to the point that i already bought another pair for low light.

I really love my I/O's. I've used the same pair and lenses for 3 seasons now and they have been exceeding my expectations everytime. Real easy to change lenses. You can do it in under a minute.

I/O's are perfect for me, fit my face, look good, and lenses are easy to find and cheap

My I/O's are awesome as well.  I've had them for two seasons now, never had a fog problem ever.  You typically get two lenses with the I/O, the ignitor and the sensor.  Both are great in low light / high light conditions respectively.  I have minimal scratches on each and the lense change is a breeze.  I have a Smith Holt helmet too so they fit pretty snug. 

Can't go wrong with the I/O if it fits your face!

Their compatibility with the POC receptor bug's are great as well. I've had zero problems with my goggles and my POC.

I'd go with Smith goggles than. They're integrated to fit most flush and snug along the helmet, along with a good amount of ventilation.

Get some I/Os

just so you know, airbrakes are huge. try them on first. Also I dont really see the reason to spend the extra money on airbrakes when you can get cbars. all you really get is the ability to change lenses fast and how much time are you really saving. like 2 minutes tops. go with cbars

my I/O's are great, I love that i can switch lenses in about 30 seconds, and they came with two lenses(red sol-x, and one that was a lot lighter for night skiing and very cloudy days)

I am going to get the Armada X Oakley Crowbars this season. They have a pretty sick graphic and look high qualaty. I had a pair of Spys and the cushion peeled off

I/O's are cheaper get those. I mean is it really necessary to change ur lenses in 5 seconds? like if u changing ur lenses u prob have at least a minute to change so just get i/o's
