I need a new pair of skis for this coming season and I'm having trouble deciding what to get. I'm 15, 5'10", and I weight about 125--I'm definitely going to be heavier at the beginning of the skis season--and I almost always only go skiing on powder days. This year I'm probably going to be skiing once a week powder or not, mostly Lake Louise, Sunshine, Kicking Horse, and maybe a week or two at Revelstoke and Fernie. I want a one ski quiver, and preferably a fat ski that will still perform reasonably well on the groomers on the way back down to the lift, and on the days when Im skiing in crud. I'll probably be using them for at least 3 years.
I was thinking the JJ would be a solid all around ski that would fit my needs well.... thoughts? I was also looking at the rocker 2 a lot last season, but I feel as though it might be a little difficult to ski on when Im out of the pow.
If you have any suggestions feel free to share.
Thanks
