Should I buy a twice mounted ski

I'm buying a twice mounted ski off a good friend of mine. Would that affect where I could mount my ski? Could I use the holes that were already there, and would it weaken the holes to get it mounted a third time? Thanks guys!

I've never personally had a ski that's been mounted 3 times, but a few of my friends have done it. I've always redrilled 6 or 7 mm away from the old holes when remounting, and haven't had any structural problems. Are you doing the mount yourself, or having a (good) shop do it?

potentially if you wear similar size boots, but probably not. and if you are using a different brand of binding it will be no trouble.

yes, I will be having a shop do it because I do not want to fuck up a pair of skis.

Depends on what bindings were mounted, to what BSL, and where on the ski they were mounted. And what bindings to what BSL, in what location you want to mount.
If you can re-use some or all of the holes by using the same bindings, it should be fine.
If you were mounting a pair of skis with a lot of metal in them like Squads or Explosivs or iM103s, none of these things would matter. But I'm pretty sure you aren't, so they're important.

I should have specified that my friend is picking them up for me. I'm not too worried about this anymore anyways. I'm not the most aggressive skiier, I should be fine.
