Marker 10 free are made for smaller, light weight skiers. If you're over 130 when you use them of course they wont be good. You get what you pay for. If you had griffons I'm sure you're thoughts on marker would be different.

but have you ever had the plastic break on you? i mean i obviously cant argue that metal isnt stronger, but its not like they use the same plastic yogurt cups are made out of. its pretty durable stuff, and generally not the problem with markers it seems

I just become friends with random groups. Most of the people I've met I just sort of filtered into their group for no reason other than I'm a social creature and felt like it.

Most people are friendly enough to lap with you. As long as you aren't a total asshole or gaper it's generally pretty easy.

True. At the home base it's harder to take a run solo. Also a spot people come to you. On park crew one doesn't have to find a group to cruise with, the group finds you.

kinda the same for me, its just a group of 4, including me. we have a few friends that sometimes go but not as much as us. since im at such a small hill, theres pretty much a group of the regulars that hang out in the bottom part of the lodge, so that can get pretty fun
