Great show, good jokes, but so, so tired in execution.

What is it with so many US shows without laugh tracks with a handheld documentary style and the deadpan eyeing of the camera after "a punchline" as to drive it through to the viewer THIS IS WHERE YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO LAUGH.
