Not really - Pep is so heavily tied into K2 and EP is linked very tightly to Line. As both are owned by the same group that own Marker they would likely have to walk away from the whole thing in order to change.
I've noticed a couple of K2 athletes on non-markers... I suppose you could look at it this way... chances are they could have free Markers (or even get paid more to ride them), so why don't they?
Marker (particularly the Royal series) deliver a fairly decent binding at a competitive pricepoint. There's no reason why they shouldn't sell, also factoring in that a lot of shops stock, realistically, the products of perhaps 1 or 2 wholesalers. If you're selling a lot of Line + K2 + Volkl you're inherently going to shift a lot of Marker bindings.
