My video work: C&C/feedback please

Hey guys,
I've been giving out a lot of critiques lately, but kind of neglecting my own work.

So, here's some recent stuff, that I'd love some feedback on.

I haven't been shooting enough, part of the reason everything is so short.





With video, and photo for that matter, I feel like I finally have the tools and the knowledge to create my vision in my work, which is why I have very high standards for my own work. This has kind of led me to not put anything up for critique, because I find so much wrong with it on my own; that's why video has been so frustrating to me.

hey man, i'm not sure if youre still looking for some feedback but here is some of my thoughts. In your first video, I liked every aspect of it. It flowed nicely with the song, had the colors all on point, and you included a lot of nice shots.

For the second one, it kind of threw me off in the first half when you film him running straight for it, making it over, then transitioning to the ground shots and other various shots of him running his way up to the final climax of the shot. I personally think it would have been more appealing to have those come before the one where he makes it over and then carry on--Just flop a couple clips around.

That's my two cents and you can take away whatever you want from it. The colors in both were pretty well done and you already have some good shots, keep up the work!

re-edit of the pole vault is worse. you need a break between the fails and succesion, I'd use the shot at 16 where he's looking at it. Also cut some of the other angles into the times where he hits the rope, and cut them faster and tighter. Then a close up of the pole sticking in during the one where he makes it to help build up the suspense of the pay off.
