I was fitted before last season and the Nordica Dead money were suggested as a suitable boot for me. When fitted they felt great. I bought a pair and they felt perfect the first few days of skiing. One day they made the inside of my ankles hurt really bad. It felt like pressure point (on the widest part of the ankle, the part that sticks out). This pain occured the worst when I would hike. I took them back and asked if I could have them heat molded, hoping it would relieve the pain. They put them in this incubator looking thing and told me to put them on tight as possible and walk around the shop for 30 minutes. It felt fine, but first day back on the slopes, the same exact pain came.
The lip I am pointing at where it curves away is where the pain is coming from.
This is what the boot looks like with the liner in (this is the other boot, so the other side is where the pain is coming from)
