University of Scranton

Im gonna be a senior this year so Im currently in the middle of my college search. Right now Scranton is probably my number one choice. I was just wondering how the skiing was around the college and if their is a ski club. If there is, do they ever organize trips to Big Boulder?

scranton is full of rich snobby lax bros. go to east stroudsburg, fifeteen minutes to camelback and about thirty to bb. thats where i go and it kicks ass

if u can, go out of state. Go to the U or Boulder. I have no knowledge of anything but from watching the Office and just looking through the windows it looks such a boring town although my judgement might be not that great.

Idk about the school, but my mom is from Pennsylvania and has told me multiple times that Scranton is a total dump

I live down the street from Scranton. The town is shit, its boring, I'm willing to chill with you and ride if you ever want to go to Boulder or Camelback. In the offseason there is pretty much nothing to do but chill. The U is a really good school tho.

Lol i know i girl that goes there, kinda, she met one of my friends on a cruise and came to visit him a couple summers ago. Very hot and very cool, so stroudsburg has my vote.

i live in scranton and i know a ton of kids that go there. its a great great school education wise, its very good. the skiing around it is terrible unless you drive 45 min to an hour to boulder. but boulder is sick obviously. the night life is really good there are huge parties every night. the cafeteria is high quality if your wondering about the food

I just graduated from the University of Scranton! Best decision of my life no doubt. Big Boulder is 45 minutes away, all closer mountains suck. I only met a couple of freestyle skiers during my time there, so you may go by yourself sometimes, which is okay in my book. The party scene is really good in my opinion. Once you turn 21 some great bars downtown within walking distance. Also, the cafeteria is absolutely amazing...actually voted one of top 10 in country. Lastly, the education is great. Tomorrow marks the first month working the entry-level job of my dreams.

So in conclusion, definitely go to The U of S!

Fuck that, if you're going to be paying that much go some where else. I live 30min away from there and I don't see why anyone would want to live in that town.
