So I'm officially moving out to Boulder in 7 days to start Freshman year (couldn't be more stoked). I'm saving up for a new camera (around the cost of college and medical bills, so it's slow going) and hopefully will have a GH2 by the time 2nd semester comes around. I'm majoring in Mech. Engineering but have just a small amount of free time in my schedule due to AP classes giving me plenty of credits. I definitely want to take some sort of film class that incorporates editing (I'm way bigger on editing than film, but want to progress in both aspects for sure). I looked through the course catalog and since I'm not a film major, I don't know what I can take/ should take/ am qualified to take. If any of you have any suggestions about some classes I could take that are at my level, just let me know. I'll post 2 of my edits just so you can see about where I'm at.
Thanks!
The first one was a simple edit I made with two days of filming this year. I wanted to keep it simple and clean as that's what the skier requested.
The second one was a total mockery of the use of Dubstep in ski edits (hence 'satire') but still am posting it to show you I have somewhat of a grasp on editing, even if it looks ridiculous. Thanks!
