How much should I pay?

So like 2 weeks ago I rolled my truck, and need a new car for school. My parents are going to buy me a car when I leave for college so I'm not going to buy anything nice. . . This is what I was looking at, http://rapidcity.craigslist.org/cto/3152114352.html . . But $2100 seems like a lot if it has 250000 miles. How much do you guys think I should pay? I'm not a car guy and neither are my parents so any help is appreciated! And of course karma to help!

It's out of the district, so busses don't go out there.

I went to high school an hours away. They did run a bus from that school district to the other to take us down there.


It only ran on school days though. The first 3 weeks of sports you were on your own. Saturday games you were on your own.


For sports practices you had to sign up for a bus at the certain time and they would kind of merge everyone who's practices ended within 2 hours of each other.


Got left by the bus or had the bus not show up at least 5 times if not 10+. Then you gotta find somewhere to kick it or get a ride back up to home. Not the worst thing in the world but a little bit tough when you've only been going to school a couple weeks and had never met any of the kids there before the school year started.

subaru motors last forever don't worry to much about how many miles it has on it, just make sure it drives straight and hasn't had any frame damage. I would pay 1700 for this car for sure.

Jeeze but I'm in a different school district so the schools district that I'm in sends busses, just not the school that I'm going to. Because they expect that everybody where I live goes to the other school. If that makes any sense. Haha

O thats exactly what you were saying ha ha. But they don't run a bus for some reason.

Yes but you're talking about buying it with 264,000 miles already on it. It's not like, oh you'll get 2 out of this car easily. It's already approaching 3 and he hasn't even started driving it yet. You could def find something with less miles.



At the same time I would say that car is prolly worth 100 billion dollars
