i like to have really grippy gloves so i can use the rooe tow easily, i hate when i start to slip on the way up, anyone know any good gloves to use for next season
I would just invest in some leather glove protectors, they will keep you from tearing your gloves apart, and give you grip. Tow ropes are relentless mother fuckers, I go one day on a toe rope at a local park, and my gloves are torn to threads. Also, I wouldn't go for grippy gloves. The grip on the gloves easily freezes, Especially when it is in contact with a pole grip. Or when they get wet.
Gibsonia Eh? Im a Valencia boii. Pine Richland for you I assume? And regarding the tow rope, Santas beard tow rope will always be littered with ice, so even with a grippy glove, it will have minimal effect. Its all in the technique.
Those are the greatest types of gloves for rope tows in my opinion. Go to a local hardware store and get some work gloves, just make sure they are the rough kind, not the smooth leather. The rougher and fuzzier the leather, the better and grippier they will be. They are generally super cheap as well.
