File size too large for NS video section

want to upload about a 2 min video. I'ts in 1080p.

I guess if i reduce it to 720p it will be small enough, but how.




Question: How do i reduce the quality of a video to 720p from 1080p?

You need to compress your videos. a 2min 1080p can easily be 100-300mb. check out this page from vimeo, its very helpful.

Aw right.. this stuff again. we've even been through this stuff.


Also its about 2gb which is crazy.

I've got to say, i'm still confused after reading that. Don't know what codec my file is encoded in nor what to compress with.

Take a film conversion program and a simple way to compress it is to add a H.264 codec to it and change the data rate to 5000-7000.  Voila, compressed to a manageable size.

you probably rendered in AVI or something. you should use mp4 instead, some editing programs have presets that work well for vimeo, use that if you can.
