they made some woodcore 1080s but they were just for their pro riders and for industry people.

all the salomon pros use woodcore skis (1080s, PRs, etc). so maybe 'pro series' = the skis the sponsered pros use....?

but i've never heard of pocket rockets that were designated as a pro model to any skier (like a mike d. pro model)

yeah im sure its been said a jillion times before but it says something about their foam skis if the pro riders etc demand woodcore in the ones they actually ride.

yeah, even if they made a wood core ski, who cares? everyone else does it, and if salomon uses a wood core, theyd charge like a bigillion dollars. Fuck solomon, theyre shit is overpriced, low quality, and they just suck. foam cores and 'spaceframe technology is just a way to use cheaper materials and charge twice the price. basicly, you are skiing on a regular ski, without a core. they get all of their ridgity from the shape of the fiberglass, and in doing so, puts a huge strain on the glass, and it breaks down way faster than a wood ski.





I still just have no idea how you can mistake your dick and a chicken neck, let alone not realize what you are doing. -manus
