Correction: Mule deer CAN be called in during the rut. BUT Mule Deer tend to rut almost 3-4 weeks AFTER white tails rut. This puts the rut in November and the archery hunt ends early September. You could probably call them during the late Rifle/Muzzleloader hunt which It looks like you did with your White Tail.

But they're not going to be vocal during the archery hunt.

Hopefully the Elk get vocal for my archery hunt!

Alright guys, its time! I'm leaving today, hunt starts Saturday and I'll be back in 8 days hopefully with some nice pics! Wish me luck!

just picked this guy up....22magnum over 20 gauge shotgun. takes 2 3/4" and 3" shells. pretty stoked on it, shoots great and is in great condition for being used.

Still not a 12 gauge...nice gun though, I actually still hunt with my 20 gauge

What do ya mean by that 12 gauge comment???

I'd love to have a little .22/20 gauge like that. Sounds like a prefect small game gun. 20 gauge is fine for small birds and rabbits/squirrels.
