However that being said I think a lot of kids are being wrongfully diagnosed with ADHD. Some parents feed their kids like froot loops and chocolate milk and pizza all the time and spoil the kids a lot by not being disciplined enough. Then they feed them drugs because they think they have ADHD. I didn't really get ADD until I was like 16, which is when most kids "grow out of it". I have a few other adult friends who have ADD and they never took medication until they were in their 20's as well.

You can't really tell an adult who has ADD because they could look completely focused on something when in reality they are totally zoned out. Plus it's not like drugs are "cheating" in any way. Taking drugs will not give you motivation you didn't have before. It's just that if you do have the motivation, you can work much more effectively.

Get off that shit as soon as possible unless you think you really need it. I had to take and I basically just refused to keep on taking it because of how much it made me feel like shit. Plus kids pay money for it so whatever.

I had my teachers almost every in school telling my parents i needed to be put on their ADD program bullshit. when i was 9 i went to two psychiatrist, did some stupid 10 minute test and they both said i had ADD and needed adderall. basically all of my good friends were on it. im not sure if you need to be diagnosed by a psychiatrist to get adderall, but its insane how many kids in my school were on it, so it must not be that hard to be diagnosed.
