Something along the lines of Casino, Mystic River, Gone Baby Gone. A really good suspense/badass film. Watched Law Abiding Citizen last night and I want to keep it going.

midnight express, fucking epic movie, about an american in a turkish prison.

andromina strain is one i saw recently if your looking for oldschool.

the thing, the 80's version, probably the best movie ive seen in terms of suspense, horror, plot, and badassness.

legends of the fall, suspenseful but mostly just an really really good movie.

days of heaven. again just a super good movie, ends in a pretty awesome suspenseful way, and possibly the best movie ever in terms of visuals and cinematography.

asassination of jesse james by the coward robert ford.

not really a badass movie, but I just watched "the hunter" last night and thought it was an awesome movie. It has a good storyline, and I was really able to put my self into the movie. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1703148/
