couches on either side of the boat, a head, decent sized v-birth and an aft cabin. nice for 2 people to live on, cruise around comfortably. she sails so smooth though, never have any problems either. diesel engines rock when the wind dies.

Hinckley's are freaking beautiful, they just are $$$ over 1 mil for one of the 3* picnics. I'm at the hinckley marina in Portsmouth RI almost everyday. Anyways, I LOVE boats. Moreso yachts. My dad is the captain of a 103 foot Burger. Awesome boat. We also have access to a dope centurion wake boat and a large array of Novi's. He also is the "captain" of a 52 foot little harbor sailboat. (same guy that owns the Burger). I'll try and find pics.

we're also working on a 1976 Hydrostream Viper for kinda a go fast boat (getting a 115hp Yamaha on it, should get up on hydroplane and maybe get to 85-95 mph

i love smallish monohulls. thwy are pretty cheap, can comfotably house 2 people, and are great to sail! not to mention they are cheaper to dock and less of a hasle to handle. i have been looking for a 30 to 40 foot boat for vacations how do you like it? any complaints?

Same here. I just picked one up this spring. $700 bucks in the middle of nowhere covered in lord knows what. Put in a good weekend of work and its like a brand new boat. 1989 hall number. Things are crazy fast. Had mine moving past haul speed couple weeks ago.

Also, I suppose I should respond to this thread since I have spent a large majority of my life on boats both power and sail. Been working professionally in the business for about 4 years. I am a sailor first though.

I'm jealous about this Z3.


right now I'm boatless but looking at possibly picking up an old Stars and Stripes for a first ski boat. I'm just bumming behind my friends Prostar 209, and some friends Super Air 210s and 220s and some bu's.

I love old Nautiques though so I might look into 90s ski nautiques for the right price.

Full time. And the owner does not charter. It sits in Jamestown, RI all summer. Gets used a good amount, then it goes south to THunderbolt Marine for some maintence work. It will usually sit there all winter, except tue owner usually takes it to the bahamas and sometimes florida.

1996 17ft spectrum with a 145 inboard mercuiser. its a nice boat for everything really. not too big, has livewells and quick and powerful enough for watersports.

That are a surprisingly fast little boat. I love the wake you get up once you really get going. I have a friend with a Hobiecat 14 and the force 5 actually beats it every time. It could help that my friend is a shitty sailor, but none the less that's pretty impressive.

@SARTRON that's all you can really ask for.

Yeah its a big help that your buddy can't sail then. Hobiecat 14 should be smoking the 5. However, the 5 is a crazy fun boat. Way cheaper then a laser.

Haha yep my friend just always keeps the sail trimmed all the way in all the time and doesn't really know how to use the jib. And I got mine for free one of my dads old racing friends gave it to him, and him to me pretty lucky haha.

No shit. We have one strung up in our garage ceiling. Needs a ton of work and we just have not gotten around to it. Basically have to completely glass the haul. However, the design looks awesome. The haul reminds me of a small J boat design. I have never seen another sailing. I would love to take one out some day so I can compare it to my Force 5 and the Laser.

boatporn is one of my favorite tumblrs. im poor as shit, so the only boat i have is a sea eagle two man inflatable kayak. it pretty much rules and i really want to ghetto rig a sail of some sort for it

Yeah, ours is in dry right now because the daggerboard split and we need to have a new one made.

The Transom is also in pretty poor condition (not surprisingly)

My dads a captain down at neb the next yard over. The boats called clover 111 its red . If you ever eaten at the restuarnt at neb youve probaby seen it . Im suprized a boat that seize isnt at the ship yard. Have you don any crossing with your dad
