We have a place on Lake Champlain. There are tons of Fountains and Ciggs up here. My dad would love to get a 26 Regulator though.

i got a 1959 chriscraft ski boat. super awesome, not great for wakeboarding air tricks but its fun to ride on.

Pretty much the same exact thing that I have.

Its a 94 Ski Nautique that I did a complete gel coat restoration and cleaned up the upholstery on. Correct crafts are such good quality, its nearly 20 years old and it looks better that most 5 year old boats. I get compliments on it everywhere I go.

Not my boat, but the closest color scheme I could find. Mine has red bumper rails and red pin striping between the black and teal

i wish i had a nice boat like some of these. all i have is a shitty 16ft bayliner that is nearly impossible to ski/wakeboard behind because the bridal sits below the water level and it doesnt have anywhere above to hook a rope to

My grandfather on my mom's side owns a 36' Cuttyhunk, it's a lobster boat hull but converted for pleasure cruising. It's a great boat. (will try to find a picture)

I appreciate the classic styling of this, but I would never buy something like this. Gotta be able to captain the boat in the sun and this one is cabin only.

How much do boat mechanics make? I was a shop bitch as a kid and to this day think about getting back into it (at a higher level) Here in colorado there's always a huge summer rush, seems like you could make a killing in just a few short months if you could charge for a faster turn around time. Is the marine mechanics institute for real or is it better to just learn on the job?

This summer I got a chance to spend a few days on a friends boat. Its a 58' vicem, wood hull, made in Turkey. Its not the style I would have chosen, but it fits in well in New England

my dad worked at the marina for 30 years, I picked it up as I grew up so I never made more than $12 an hour but I could work 60 hr work weeks. From my experience you don't make shit regardless of summer rushes, because its all hourly. As for techs, I have nothing to say to that, I learned in an apprenticeship manner
