Does anyone know how early Bear creek usually opens? I might get a season pass there or at blue.
Thanks

wow really? at big boulder i saw some pretty big ones but i only saw probably 5 people go off of ithem and only 3 of them actually landed. a lot of kids in PA think they got style by wearing flashy junk, then they fall on the first feature i see them hit. i saw bear creek's "big air" (nothing close to big) and the best i saw was maybe a double backflip. thats okay, considering how small the jump was.
i'm glad my family heads up to killington VT once a year. Last year we were lucky enough to be able to go during the dew tour. that was pretty sweet, but pretty crowded. i emailed killington and they said it won't be back in the east for another year or two, sadly
yess. you have to drive to ski... 45 minutes minimum for me, spring mountain is the closest and it is okay, only because its so close. it gets boring when i go with my friends. poconos is 1 45 mins for me and well worth the trip. if you really want to do some big east coast skiing, new england is the answer. resorts with 150+ trails with some runs nearing 30 minutes. but bear creek isn't the big, but not one hill one lift. the terrain park is alright, and there are only like 10 trails total. i might get a season pass there, ski like everyday after school, and become better.
40 minutes worth it, for me.
Oh shit you're right dude I'm way off haha, but thank you I'm definitley going to check out blue and BC this winter.
a i can't judge it very well because i always went there on our last ski trip of the season like march 20th, thats 10x worse. half of the trails open, one terrain park open and being used for a rail jam......and it was quite muddy.
for me, skiing is skiing in the longrun. obviously quite a difference when you compare one small and one huge one, like comparing spring mountain and whistler blackomb. most resorts in PA are around the same size though
cant wait till this season :D
